One of the funniest aspects of working on the characters for The Bourne Conspiracy was actually incorporating people from High Moon into the game. Many of the civilians, bosses and enemy characters in Bourne are actually based off the likeness of our staff. It wasn’t hard finding volunteers for this. In fact, after we decided to use a producer's likeness for the face of one of the bosses, employees practically lined up at my door to get themselves into the game. I started receiving e-mails asking if there were additional bosses or characters we needed to cast. People would stop me in the halls to tell me how well-suited they were for a particular character, or why they deserved to have their face immortalized in the video game medium. Ultimately it was a very tough decision casting each character, and we simply weren't able to include everyone that expressed interest. I always thought it might be fun to hold some sort of raffle or contest to choose some of the faces but it came down to art directing the specific character types needed. In some cases we were able to match the employees’ likeness quite accurately, while in others they as a starting point for the concept artists to further explore.
